No Mercy, No Sanctuary
The danger is not only outside. It knocks on your door and asks to come in.
A gritty 2D apocalypse with realistic physics and visceral dismemberment. Fortify your sanctuary by day and defend it by night. Scrutinize every survivor seeking refuge — one hidden infection will doom your entire colony.
What is No Mercy, No Sanctuary
No Mercy, No Sanctuary is an uncompromising 2D survival shooter blending intense combat with base management. The world has collapsed, the streets belong to the dead, and your only goal is to survive one more night.
But the danger doesn’t just come from the darkness outside — it comes from the very people you try to save. Every newcomer is either a pair of working hands or a time bomb inside your walls.
No Mercy, No Sanctuary is built from two different games that alternate. By day it is an expedition: a quiet 2D shooter about conserving ammo, where you search houses and shops and decide what matters more — one more medkit or boards for the windows. By night it is a siege: everything you managed to build gets tested.
The shooting is deliberately heavy. Bodies react to hits physically, you can blow off a limb to slow an enemy down, weapons have recoil and weight. A miss costs a round, and rounds have to be crafted from whatever you carried home.
The quarantine is a mechanic of its own. Living people come to your door and each of them has to be examined: a cough, pale skin, nervous behaviour. A mistake in either direction is expensive — turn away the healthy and you lose working hands, admit the infected and you get an outbreak inside your walls, at night, in the dark.
No Mercy, No Sanctuary key features
Visceral combat and physics
Realistic ballistics and a brutal body physics system make every hit land. Blow off a limb to slow an enemy down, or aim for the head. Weapons have weight and recoil.
The quarantine: trust no one
You are the judge and the doctor. A cough, pale skin, nervous behaviour. Admit the healthy and gain a fighter. Admit the infected and they will turn inside your walls.
Fortify and craft
Barricade windows, reinforce doors, set traps. Scavenge raw materials to craft ammunition and medicine — there is never enough of either.
Relentless day/night cycle
By day, dangerous expeditions into the city. When the sun sets the rules change: zombies form hordes and storm your defences.
